The New Year // Updates

For being a photographer, I don't really have a whole lot of recent photos of myself. Instead of going through the trouble of taking a new one, I'm just going to use this one of me in the toddler years, looking inquisitively at the camera with a cat. No, that was not a family pet, and I have no idea what it was doing there. Maybe it was interested in the lemons I seem to be bringing to it.

I promise not to write too much, I just feel like I haven't had very much information on what is upcoming in this new year. I thought about starting another 'project' - like my [three. six. five.] or [fifty-two weeks.], but I think I'm going to let this year go without one. Those were challenges I set up to basically keep myself in line, and make sure I didn't blow off taking photos, even if I got burnt out after a while. And I'm 99% sure I'm past that point.

As if to confirm this decision, on January 1st [I know, I know - timing of Greek myth] I was offered to take spring collection lookbook photos for a boutique based out of Los Angeles. To keep myself from jinxing it, I'm going to refrain from sharing more information until it draws closer, but...things are looking pretty awesome. I will leave it at that.

More shoots are to come soon, as well as some new features I'm hoping to add to this little blog; if there's anything you'd like to see more of, please feel free to shoot me an email or leave me a comment! :)

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
